Next to protocol composition and dissemination of CORALZOO results, training of zoo staff also is vital to stimulate usage of newly acquired knowledge. During the last year of the CORALZOO project (2009), a training session for EAZA (European Association for Zoos and Aquaria) staff is organized.

Zoo staff will be instructed during a several day course, which includes lectures and work-shops. In combination with a new book of protocols, this will aid in the optimization of coral aquaculture within European zoos.
